Have you chosen words for conviction in 2025?

If One Word’s Good, Two’s Better:

Every year, people pick resolutions, goals, or themes to guide them. But let’s be honest, most resolutions don’t make it past January. (We all know the gym clears out by February, right?) That’s why this year, I’m skipping resolutions and focusing on words…powerful words that will anchor my purpose and actions throughout 2025.

An influencer (Michael Anderson, creator of Leadership Mindset 2.0: The Psychology and Neuroscience of Leading) recently posed the question to our group, “What’s your word for the year?” It stopped me in my tracks. I couldn’t choose just one. Because if you know my family, you know our motto: “If one’s good, two’s better.”

Momentum and Amplify are going to be my two words of conviction. They reflect a bold commitment to action and growth, both for myself and for the people I aim to serve. They carry intention and purpose, signaling that I am not just floating through the year but driving it forward with clarity and energy.

Why Momentum?

Momentum is the energy behind every great achievement. It’s that unstoppable force that comes from small, consistent actions adding up over time. For me, Momentum is about:

• Building on the foundation I’ve already created with Networking 3.0 and Net-Offering™️.
• Staying focused and intentional, even when distractions pop up.
• Turning tiny wins into massive ripple effects for growth…not just for myself, but for the communities I serve.

Momentum reminds me that success doesn’t come from sudden, heroic efforts. It comes from showing up, doing the work, and letting the energy build over time.

Why Amplify?

If Momentum gets the ball rolling, Amplify will take it to the next level. Amplify is about turning up the volume on my message, my connections, and my impact. This year, I’m committed to:

• Amplifying the voices and strengths of the people I meet (because true networking isn’t about collecting contacts, it’s about creating value).
• Scaling the ideas and systems I’ve put in place to reach even more people.
• Sharing what matters…not louder, but smarter, so the right people hear it.

If Momentum is the engine, Amplify is the megaphone.

The Power of Choosing Words

Words are funny…they seem small, but they carry massive weight. Choosing the right ones gives you clarity and direction. For me, Momentum and Amplify aren’t just words; they’re a promise to myself. They represent a commitment to keep moving, to think bigger, and to act boldly.

But choosing words is only step one. The real magic happens when you back them up with action. This year, I’ll be using these words to guide everything from the way I network to the way I connect, give, and grow.
